Fidelity Transfer Bonus - Question about 12-month holding period

It is common for brokerages (like Fidelity) to require a 12-month period in which assets transferred in for a promo bonus must remain in " on the net" through a 12-month window. My question is: is this determined on an ongoing basis, or at the end of the 12-month period? Specifically for Fidelity.
For example, if on month #6 I need to withdraw some of the inital amount transferred, but I "replace" this amount before the 12-month window ends, is this OK for keeping the bonus or would it cause the bonus to be revoked?
