Recommend a Tax Strategist/Planner/Advisor for high income earner

Good evening
Any recommendations on a CPA proactivr tax strategist, planner, advisor, Tax preparer,
I'll be a K1 independent contractor
I'm going to manage my investments but I'll need some assistance with maximizing Tax deductions, strategies, and preparation?

Interview partners or senior CPAs at respected CPA firms near you which do tax preparation until you find one that will do what you want and you get along with and see eye-to-eye on.
Most will want you to sign up for annual tax preparation and may include some advice in there, but probably not any heavy duty tax planning.
I mostly DIY things, but I found a CPA who will consult on an ad hoc basis for $250 an hour who I see very occasionally for really complicated stuff or if I just need a second opinion.

I’m not sure there are any tax advantages vs 1099.
I have to imagine most good CPA’s can handle this

I have to agree, however, the difference is the amount of coaching the client gets for the cost!

I worry that the coaching will lead to bad advice like insurance as an investment

What's a K1 independent contractor? K1 is for owners of a pass through entity. Do you mean 1099 independent contractor?

So we're to go around not trusting advice from any professional?
