Daylight savings time

Post by Chardo »

My Bogleheads time didn't spring forward. It's an hour behind actual time. Advice?

Boglehead wisdom is timeless…… :D

Seriously, have you checked your time zone settings under User Control Panel/Board Preferences/Edit Global Settings?

If you set it correctly when you registered or any point afterwards you'll never have to worry about it again. It will automatically adjust if/when daylight saving time starts and ends in your location.

Technically its Daylight Saving Time, not Daylight Saving(s) Time. I know us Bogleheads are all about savings, but not in this case :greedy

From Daylight saving time - Wikipedia
Wikipedia wrote:Daylight saving time (DST), also known as daylight savings time or daylight time (United States, Canada, and Australia), and summer time (United Kingdom, European Union, and others), is the practice of advancing clocks (typically by one hour) during warmer months so that darkness falls at a later clock time.
Bogleheads also like to quibble about the tiniest of details. 😁
