VTSAX & REIT Holding Percentage

Is there anywhere on the Vanguard site where I can find the percentage of REITs held in the Total Stock Market Index Fund (VTSAX)?

M* indicates 3.58% held real estate, but I can find nothing confirming that on the Vanguard site. I find that rather unusual, but then maybe I am not looking in the correct place within Vanguard. I know people have quoted a similar percentage on this site, but what was their source?

Maybe customize your fund display at Vanguard so it only shows Total Market, then look at portfolio analysis. Should show up there, I think.

I think that Vanguard groups real estate into financials when displaying the sector breakdown for that fund. I usually just using M* when I want to see that information.

You need to dig a little to find it.

From the funds page, click to check the box for VTSAX (and/or any other funds), then click "compare". Scroll down to "Equity sector diversification," and you'll see that VTSAX is 3.58% real estate, VGSLX is 100% real estate, and VSIAX is 16.41% real estate.
