Just saw in the app that Robinhood has rolled out the ability to sell specific tax lots earlier this month. I didn't get an email about it, and was contacting their customer service to get cost basis info. They pointed me to the capability. Currently only in the app, not the webpage. Glad to see they added this functionality since its timing corresponds well to my tax loss harvesting.
I have also been on the wait-list for the credit card since it was announced and asked about that while on the chat. The rep pulled some strings and got me off the wait-list

I'm really glad I saw this comment. I might have to wait until they add this for desktop browsers.
In my humble opinion, it seems kind of backwards. Shouldn't desktops get features before mobile devices? Then again, I guess we are talking about Robinhood.

It sounds like it is also potentially a staged rollout. I agree I try to do most of my investing via a computer vs an app on a phone. However, after playing with the individual tax lot on the app it was pretty easy to use.

Where are you seeing this in the app? If I click to sell a stock, I just tried to sell 1 share, and nowhere does it prompt me to choose tax lots.

It's staged, not every customer has it yetbrybogle wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 10:58 pm Where are you seeing this in the app? If I click to sell a stock, I just tried to sell 1 share, and nowhere does it prompt me to choose tax lots.
