FYI i noticed today that it looks like the cash in my WeBull Margin account is earning 5% interest
How does one figure out whether the cash in a WeBull Margin account is earning interest? Do I have to wait till the end of the month?
Click on cash management banner. It has daily accrual

In my case, it shows that only for the 'cash account', not for the 'margin account'. The Margin account isn't even an option in cash management account selection (only my IRA and cash account).

I don't think margin accounts have their cash management feature. It requires their omnibus account which is cash only.

That's what I thought too, but one of the posters above indicated differently. spacecadet610, if you read this, do indicate how/if it's possible to get interest in your margin account.

I'm sorry I should have updated this.

I thought I was getting the higher interest in the Margin account but I was incorrect.

Because of the way the app is set up, I was shown the interest earned in my margin account page but the interest earned was actually from the cash account.

I was confused.

I mean if I keep it under SIPC $500K, should be fine no matter what right? Worst case scenario I don't get my bonus?

Greater than $2 million transfer, I expect to get $60k ($36k at end of year; $24k at middle of next year).

No plans to sell any of these assets during this time.

This is a ridiculous bonus.

Crossing my fingers nothing goes wrong.
So did you get the December bonus? Did things go as you expected?
