I like John Lee Hooker’s.
Is it possible I never heard that version?

No it sounds like Carole king live doing take good care of my baby Song saying it's her 1Song saying it's her 1st hit in 1963. Seems like the name of this song is it might as well rain until September? No she's doing go away little girl.

Saw her perform once in 1971.

1st was the band jo mama. THEN HER. James Taylor was the final With the 1st 2 bands later joining him at the end

As I write this she continues to go into other songs in this medley.

I'm into something good.

1 fine day

Amazing that for someone with a voice like her as plus her piano playing that All she did was write songs for so long and no performing.

Now she's doing tonight you're mine.

Re: Woodstock, this one always gives me chills:

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit (Grace Slick, Woodstock, Aug 17 1969)

Didn't like the Woodstock version of "Someone to Love" nearly as much. In fact, preferred the recorded version.

Thanks.

As soon as I got a second or two into each I realized I'd prior heard both. Both of which are excellent versions of the songs.

I am a major Alvin lee and 10 years after fan.

Just heard him do the song the bluest blue which is 1 of his best songs ever. It has a tremendous guitar solo in it.

Went to Illinoise on Broadway recently so have been listening to the recording of that show, and also re-listening (for the first time in many year) to the Sufjan Stevens album on which it is based.

I am listening to Bo Diddly via Amazon streaming. I have a lot of his music in my CD collection, but streaming is so easy to listen to exactly what you want to hear.

Forty years ago DW and I were very involved in Jaycees. We had Bo performing at one of our conferences or conventions.
