For the most part, I only checked my portfolio when the market hit new highs. As I was in 100% equities (until last Friday anyway) for decades, periodic rebalancing wasn't needed so no reason to check during market lows. Out of sight, out of mind kind of thing. There were some very looong periods when I didn't know my own net worth.

end of March 8.9% 20% international, 15% bonds

I ran the monthly numbers on my 60/40 portfolio over the weekend:

ytd: +3.07%
one year: +9.77%
from personal high (mar 2024): +0.76%
from retirement (feb 2018): +42.11%

Not much change from last month although it did set another personal high.
