Password Safe Experience/Opinions
Has anyone used or seriously evaluated Password Safe by Bruce Schneier?
I am looking for informed user experience and opinions on this solution only.
I am not looking for alternate recommendations, hearsay, digressions, etc.
Thanks in advance.

I use it and works great for me. I only use on a single windows machine. This is the only computer that i use to access financial sites. On my phone and tablet i use their native password management methods. That is, i don't deal with password management among multiple computers.

Re: Password Safe Experience/Opinions
I used passwordsafe for many years before migrating to lastpass because I wanted the data to be accessible by multiple computers and other features (like sharing folders with family members).
If you are happy with the ability of only using it on one computer, then password safe is a perfectly good option.

Does it still not have a browser extension? Copy/paste of username, copy/paste of password would not be my choice. Especially now that I am trying to move my usernames away from a standard naming convention to something different on every site (when possible).
Re: Password Safe Experience/Opinions
It does have the ability to type in the userid & password after launching the url. It didn’t work for a lot of sites when I first installed the app. I just looked at the documentation and it appears the program allows for customization to handle logons better. But I’m fine with entering myself.
You can have launching the web page place the password in the clipboard, which I do. I also have the target site remember my userid, assuming it is supported. So for most of my sites, I launch the web page from password safe, and use c-v to enter the password.
The notes section is great for storing forgot password options, etc.
Password Safe is fairly basic, but does what I need.

I used Password Safe for a long time before migrating to Keepass(xc). It was a really good password manager.
The only reason I migrated to Keepass was because it was maintained by an opensource team, not just an individual, as good as Bruce is.

Schneier designed it but per their website pwsafe.org it was open-sourced some time ago.
Thanks to all for your prompt on-topic responses!

I've used Password Safe for many years. I have it installed on my Windows computers and use it to a lesser degree on my iPhone and tablets.
The data base itself I keep out there in the cloud.
A bargain at twice the price.
