Nice job over the past 6 years.

Why the car loan debt at your income level and paid off house? We'd write a check from the EF fund and be done with it.

Yeh I thought I might get a question about that. Our income has bounced up about $100K year after the car purchase. We have typically just paid cash for slightly used cars and held them for 10+ years. Due to limited availability of quality used cars 2 years ago (cars in general) , we decided to buy a new car that fit our parameters. The interest on the loan cost us under $600 over the 4 year loan. I put $5K (max allowed) on a credit card for points and then decided to finance it and leave the money invested.
Don't let your outflow exceed your income or your upkeep will be your downfall.
