PC problem, help please?
PC problem, help please?
Windows 10 with Edge browser.
Stuck on .aspx logon white screen for local bank. No problems with this for the previous 2 years.
The same site works with Android devices. I do not use my phone for any financial sites.
Uninstalled the recent windows 10 update and no change.
Also installed Firefox and Chrome browsers with the same issue encountered.
Checked Youtube and had no luck so far. I am not a code programmer.
Looks like this .aspx has been an issue for some users going back 10 years or more.
The microsoft thread i found was quickly locked by microsoft for no reason i could understand. And no answer.
So if anyone can help or point me in the right direction...

Restart your modem and router. Maybe try a linux virtual machine.

Can you try a different browser i.e. Firefox or Chrome?

Could the bank be having system issues? Doesn't sound like it is on your end.
Does the bank have an app you could try?

Re: PC problem, help please?
if isolated to your computer. search .net repair tool.
i might also suggest ccleaner to scan your registry, free version & select save registry changes, or backup registry before before using ccleaner & repairing .net

Re: PC problem, help please?
Contact support at the bank. This is a bank website problem, not your desktop unless you're running something antiquated. If the bank can't (or won't) fix it, might be time for a different provider.
One thing that can cause this are browser plugins. We have had customers complain about our site not working, but they had browser plugins that did interceptions/redirects that we don't allow. So one other step would be disable all plugins (like coupon shoppers/etc).

Re: PC problem, help please?
turn off any adblockers as sometimes these cause issues on logon screens.
Re: PC problem, help please?
Thanks Tim. PC is much faster with a clean registry. Still have same problem. I did not use the net repair tool yet.
Re: PC problem, help please?
Tim. Is it the program System Mechanic on Iolo.com or is it the Microsoft Net Framework Tool?
The last MS update did have Net Framework mentioned.
Re: PC problem, help please?
This might be out in left field, but have you made any recent changes to your display settings, or updated the display driver? I once had a problem with TurboTax showing a white screen instead of the registration page. I found a help topic that suggested changing the display settings and that did the trick. It looks like some people still have the problem: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes ... 00/2451666
The registration page was a one-time only thing, so it might not be related to your issue but I thought I'd mention it. Good luck finding a solution!

Re: PC problem, help please?
Sometimes logins won't work with a particular site if third party cookies, popups and redirects, location, JavaScript, and/or motion sensors are disabled. Try permitting these for the problem website and see if this helps.
Re: PC problem, help please?
Since the problem is computer-specific but not browser-specific, I would suspect a third-party antivirus/anti-malware program and would try disabling it. Otherwise if you use a VPN, or some alternate DNS, or anything else that differs from a generic Windows PC, I would try to eliminate those variables.
