Vanguard Brokered CDs 1099
Vanguard Brokered CDs 1099
For those of you that have brokered CDs through Vanguard, how does VG handle the 1099s? Do you get a consolidated 1099 form or a 1099 for each individual brokered CD?

You get a consolidated 1099's for all of your brokerage holdings. You will get a 1099INT for the interest payments and a 1099B for buying and/or selling CDs and any other holdings. If you hold funds or stocks, you will also get a 1099DIV for dividends.

+1.
And if you have more than one taxable brokerage account at the custodian, you'll get one consolidated 1099 per account. The 1099 will indicate the account number it's for.
And the consolidated 1099 may include a 1099-OID, which may or may not be empty/all zeros for your situation.
