Thanks for the link, but this morning when I tried it their website was down, and then now that I see it's up again, the price is back up too! Back at $34.99.

Pretty much the same thing with the camelcamelcamel link at the bottom of Northster's post. It does imply there is an offer for $22.45, but the rebate doesn't seem to be real. It still appears to me to be actually $34.99

We'd be downloading the Mac version.

In the past, I usually saved the download file to my computer and a consumer cloud storage provider, so that I can reinstall from that later if needed. The installer should be able to be shared between computers.

I assume that support would be able to help with the download later on if it is not working.

Sounds good, except when I order my download there's very little waiting. The download link and registration key has typically arrived via email in under 5 minutes. Likely way quicker than if I drove to Target.

It’s computes and fills out your California income tax for you but that is different from filing it. If you don’t want to pay the e-file fee, then print out the return and mail it in.

Edit. Iirc The program does not charge you for up to five Federal e-filing fees.

I have used HR Block software the past couple of years, it was fine. They have some problems this year, specifically with importing data from brokerages. It would not happen for me, and they could not fix the issue. They did refund my money though. Apparently it was not an unknown problem to them.
