Cap One is tired of losing customers. Just got the first interest from First Foundation at 1.65%, it’s legit. There are some daily transfer limits though, and it takes 2/3 days for your money to show up after transfer. Just fyi.

1.65% is kind of low now. A lot of other HYSA and money market funds offer more now.

That’s true, and if they don’t keep up in the next few months I’ll have to move it again I suppose. I need a bank that keeps up with the Jones’s!

In times like these, I feel really sorry for the person at Doctor of Credit who has to go updating their HYSA page on the regular. And I'm assuming that updating that page is a manual process rather than an automated one, because they still have First Foundation listed as 1.65%.

Most of the % are wrong, that person probably threw up their hands and gave up.

I see it in my account details now. Did they go to 1.4% first? I had never seen it jump more than 0.1% at a time, and I did see 1.3%. But hey that's good thing, keep on going up! My 20 year mortgage was refinanced last year at 2.25% so I am hoping eventually I can get more interest than my mortgage rate.

You can buy 6 month T-Bills right now that offer almost 3% interest.

Fidelity money market, SPRXX, has a 7 day yield of 1.99%. So most of my money has been moved out of Cap 1. HYS is not keeping up.

Yeah, at Fidelity I have my extra cash split between SPRXX and 1 mo T-Bills. My emergency fund is already monthly in I Bonds. HYS definitely lagging.
