What are you listening to now

Tonnanella
Serenata d’Amore
Italian (?) folk music. I like it — these musicians play with simplicity and honesty.

Re: What are you listening to now
I am regressing this evening, back to to the 70s:
Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTrsS8SGwx4
The Rubberband Man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSMVflSBKx8
Summer In The City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xN3KOY2kbg
I actually only discovered the third one recently. It reminds me of falling asleep to an AM transistor radio when I was a child. CKLW, AM800, The Big Eight, Night Flight. It was usually rather mellow, not as frenetic as this compilation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uJ83yM48-w

Agree....created a small playlist with a dozen of his compositions and it's now my new "can't fall asleep" playlist. Audio melatoninJAZZISCOOL wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 5:28 pmReally nice. My finds this week:
Domi and JD Beck- These 2 young new jazz superstars are fantastic and I love Beck's drumming style.
Zildjian LIVE! - JD Beck (Featuring DOMi) He was 16 years old here...

NORD LIVE: DOMi & JD Beck - Jump

Cory Wong and the Wongnotes again-
Cory Wong // "Jet Screamer"
This is my new all-time fav horn section and this song really highlights them. Great bone solo by Micheal who I think does all the arrangements followed by Kenni on sax. Brilliant!!

Northwest Passage — Stan Rogers
Many would prefer this as the Canadian national anthem.

The sound of ocean waves crashing onto the rocky shore at our hotel in Yachats, OR is music to my ears tonight.

Yesterday it was a qobuz stream of John Hartford. Steam powered Aero Plane album is one of his high point albums, and credited by some as the start of the newgrass music movement.
