Can't Properly Edit Draft
Can't Properly Edit Draft
It does not seem like I can edit my draft post using the buttons usually found right above the content box. For example, I don't see a bold, italic or underline button.
Can someone let me know if there is a way to make these buttons appear in the edit draft box?
Many thanks.

How are you getting into the "draft" box? Are you using "new post" or the quote function for another post already there?Cruise wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 1:23 pm It does not seem like I can edit my draft post using the buttons usually found right above the content box. And the draft box has WHITE background?

Re: Can't Properly Edit Draft
Are you posting a reply to an existing thread, or starting a new one?
Below is a snapshot of what it looks like for me. You're saying it looks like that except you don't see the row of button underneath the subject line, correct?
I guess I would try copying & pasting whatever text you might have in the edit box, then start over from scratch.

Re: Can't Properly Edit Draft
I find it easier to simply save posts in a text editor, like notepad.
1. Reply to a thread, but don't type anything in.
2. Copy-n-paste the text into the post editing area ^^^ What sycamore posted above.
3. Hit "Preview"
4. If you don't like it, edit the text and Preview again. Save the changes in notepad.
As long as you don't hit "Submit", you can do this as many times as you want. When you're done, close the browser tab or hit the browser 'back' button.

I'm getting to the draft box by first clicking on my screen name in the upper right next to "Private Message," They clicking on User Control/Manage Drafts.ResearchMed wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 1:32 pmHow are you getting into the "draft" box? I started off creating a new thread in draft form, then saving the draft post for further editing.LadyGeek wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 5:45 pm I find it easier to simply save posts in a text editor, like notepad.

It makes perfect sense to just finish it up in my word processor and then cut and paste.
Thanks!

Are you trying to work with a draft message that you previously saved?Cruise wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 6:08 pmI'm getting to the draft box by first clicking on my screen name in the upper right next to "Private Message," They clicking on User Control/Manage Drafts.ResearchMed wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 1:32 pmHow are you getting into the "draft" box? If so, yup, I noticed that one can't edit those (or I sure don't see it1), so IF I have a "saved draft", then I copy/paste it back into a newly opened edit window, but NOT using the "draft" feature.
I'd just use post new, or the quote function (or if a PM, open a new one) - and then paste in the saved draft.
I so rarely deal with the 'saved draft feature that I forgot about it.
Are you having this problem for regular posts, not drafts?

Perfect! Thanks! I was clicking "review/edit," rather than "load."
