Facebook and a few other companies are mentioned as the next potential trillion dollar company, but they all have a ways to go. Curiously UK govt bonds, probably the second govt bonds of the modern era (after the Dutch) - first issued in 1696 I believe.
Are known as "All Stocks" (index). And the coupons were known as "dividends".
I forgot why this is so, but in the UK "stocks and shares" means "bonds and equities". Equities are shares.

The great thing is that I own VTSAX, so I already own the next trillion-dollar stock, whatever that might turn out to be!

Actually, I was thinking of Mnuchin & colleagues latest moves. Surely, they are propping up the means of production here in the USA. They are trying very hard not to advertise this though.

Does a magazine editor keep story themes in a file, to be updated and published on days when the markets are closed?
Was it Forbes Sr. who said he made more money publishing a magazine of stock tips, than he ever made in the stock market, even with the lead time ahead of publishing those tips?

The financial industry and the media and porn machine never cease to amaze me. How can they inject themselves in an effort to come between you and your money?

We may see the first $2T US company before the next $1T one. AAPL is 26.7% away from 2T while FB is 50.3% away from 1T.

Well I just did some googling to try to answer my own question. First google hit says it trades on NYSE as BABA and has a market cap of 4.8T. Is that correct?

It's interesting how certain values seem to carry extra significance simply because we use a base-10 number system.
