My wife just popped in The Beatles, Rubber Soul CD.

I'm happy.

A wonderful John Prine tribute. Two hours of music from John himself plus lots of tasteful covers.

Nice!

One of my favorite Bill Evans recordings is "You Must Believe In Spring". The title is pretty appropriate right now in the world.

I'm listening to the late Little Richard on Amazon Prime Music.

He was probably listened to more by my older brother, but I heard a lot of his music growing up myself.

RIP, Little Richard.

Today it is Pavlo.
https://www.pavlo.com

Great guitarist, great individual. His daughter and one of my granddaughters attended the same pre-school, and their friendship has continued. I finally met him at a cookout at my daughter's home a month or so ago. Wonderful family. The whole family travels the globe (well, not at the moment :( ) for his concerts. Awesome experience for the daughter, especially.

He has some concerts on PBS available for viewing.

Today I have been listening to a collection of CDs my neighbor gave me. He was cleaning out his sister's home who recently died. I'm down to the last few songs. Started listening early this morning.

The collection is Giants of the Big Band Era, a CD from each of these groups:
-Glen Miller Orchestra
-Tommy Dorsey
-Count Basie
-Duke Ellington
-Benny Goodman
-Woody Herman
-Artie Shaw
-Les Brown

Honestly, I have enjoyed the music very much. Smooth listening. High praise from a 70ties rocker!

Temple University radio WRTI, 90.1 FM, in the Philadelphia area. This station does classical and jazz exclusively. Now, it's jazz - the "standard" easy listening stuff.

The host, Bob Perkins, sounds like he's 90 years old. I was close, he's 87.

You can stream either here: Listen Live to WRTI
