Nest cam scheduling

Post by newbie003 » Thu Mar 26, 2020 11:01 am

Am I correct that the only two options for getting alerts are either 'Always' or when 'No one's home'?

Why is there not an option for a time-based alert? In other words, I of course want alerts when no one is home, but I'd also like them when I'm not home and after a certain hour. I don't need them all day long as the kids are going in/out... but I'd like to get them if the camera spots a person after say 9 PM (or whatnot).

Is that an option that I'm just not finding, or is it simply either always or when no one's home?

Thanks!

Did you Google this?

Thank you, but I'm referring to receiving alerts, not the camera being on/off. These are outdoor cameras so I always want them on, but I only want alerts (when they see people) either when I'm away, or in the evening, but not all day long (i.e. when the kids are playing on the driveway, when someone brings out the trash...).

Thanks again.
