AAA/AA muni fund?

Post by ellink » Wed Mar 25, 2020 10:27 pm

After seeing how Vanguard's Total Bond fund performed recently, I'm thinking that I want a fund that has only A-rated bonds. Is there such a thing?

You asked a confusing question. Do you want muni bonds?

Any bond fund that is 100% treasuries is, of course, the highest-rated - VGIT comes to mind, as does VGLT or VGSH.

There is also VTIP is you want TIPS

There is also BIV - opps this has lots of Baa rated.

However, none of those are muni bond funds.
