I love almost everything by James McMurtry, but Choctaw Bingo is the exception. I do find parts of it quite amusing though.

"Fantasia on a Theme By Thomas Tallis", a composition by Ralph Vaughn Williams. Possibly the most beautiful piece of music on the earth.
Agreed. The Lark Ascending is equally beautiful.

Today's selection was 'The Corrs' and letting Spotify work through their collection. Great voices.

Elsie Parker & The Poor People of Paris - "Elle se Souvient"

My wife likes to shop at a place called Cheryl's Herbs in Maplewood, a St. Louis suburb. For some reason, they have a rack of CDs for sale, and a while back I picked up this CD which is a French language jazz album performed by a local St. Louis group. I really like it. Kind of like an Edith Piaf album / bistro performance.

A link from a colleague in lockdown in Peru. I've always loved Queen and Freddie. The adaptation has a lot of wisdom.

^^^ Amazing. I copied heartwood's post here: Re: Bogleheads community discussion - Coronavirus

It's Saturday night, which means for those in the Philadelphia area, this is live now:

The Blues Show with Johnny Meister on WXPN radio. Every Saturday night from 7 PM to midnight for as long as I can remember. You can also stream online.
