Alternative to Flexsteel chair

Post by clemrick » Thu Jul 11, 2019 3:30 pm

Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative to a Flexsteel chair? My Dad likes this chair but he doesn't want to spend $600. He likes how sturdy the chair is.

Thanks

Can't help you with this one. My parents still have a pair of Flexsteel chairs that they bought when they were first married....and they're past their 50th anniversary at this point. They've been reupholstered a couple of times for aesthetic reasons, but are still super-comfortable today.

No help here.
Way past time to replace our den furniture. Cushions lost oomph, and shape, and springs sagging. Was not budget furniture at the time, but started degrading a lot sooner than expected.
This time we bought Flexsteel for very first time. Instead of couch, trim recliner and club chair w ottoman (all fabric), like before, we replaced them al! With two identical leather couchs with the powered recliners on both ends. Decided two skip the love seat w console between recliners. Loved the way the Flexsteel sat a bit higher, and firmer, tighter all around.
