VG website gone wonky?

Post by epilnk » Wed Jun 12, 2019 7:49 pm

I logged in to vanguard today and the website looked bizarre. Huge fonts, lots of white space, can't see all my investments on one screen. Way too much scrolling around, very hard to use. Is this a glitch, or did some website designer recently lose his mind? Is there any way to change the settings to get it back to a more usable view? I couldn't find anything.

Thanks.

Your cat crawled across your keyboard and reset your default font sizes and magnification used by your browser. command-0 restores sizes on a Mac.

I don’t see any issues with the website formatting.

I experienced the same thing on my account today. It appears to be a reprise, or maybe a continuation of a (reallly slow) rollout as described in This Thread from last year.

I was a bit repelled by it...but unsure if that's because it's just so different from what I'm used to.

The VG website is always wonky - straight out terrible but classy back in the 80's.

One thing I'll say for the new introductory screen: The balances reflect the true daily balance, as opposed to the old one, which was always a day behind.

I still prefer navigating to the familiar Balances & Holdings view next, which is still available from the top menu.
