Excel to Outlook - need some Visual Basic assistance

Post by blueman457 » Mon Jun 10, 2019 6:47 pm

Q: Where can I find a free-lancer to do a small easy project in Visual Basic?

I am in charge of scheduling various people to give a monthly lecture with my residents. I want to use excel to create the meeting and sent the invite in outlook so that it shows up on the faculty's calendar. How do I find a free-lancer to do this?

Thanks,

Blue Man

No offense, but how hard is it to set up some outlook invites in the first place?. I can't imagine the time to just send the invites would exceed the programming time to set this up in visual basic.

I have seen some excellent videos by Jon Acampora (https://www.excelcampus.com/about/) on excel and in particular on VBA. He even conducts classes on VBA.

Not sure if he does freelancing. But worth a try reaching out and asking: https://www.excelcampus.com/contact/

I would recommend Google Sheets with autocrat add-on. It can do exactly what you are asking for, very easily.

Google "autocrat addon"
