In a "Seinfeld" episode, there was this quick exchange between Jerry and George about compound interest after George is notified about some money in his name in an abandoned bank account. George's first line is one of my favorites when it comes to investing.
George: "Interest" - it's an amazing thing, you make money by doing nothing.
Jerry: I have some friends who base their lives on that very principal.
