I just saw this :

- The Fed pause sparks money inflows into REIT
- Tax law changes in 2017 helping REITs in the taxable accounts because 20% of income coming from REITs is tax free
- Fee wars accelerate in ETF world

Also - there seems to be some confusion around the pronunciation of Larry's surname: Swee-droh vs. Sweh-droh.

Interesting to hear that Rick's new advisory firm will be called Ferri Investment Solutions, but not launching until sometime in April (when his non-compete expires).

Also,
Rick seems to strongly feel the days of 1% AUM are ending fast.
Host seemed to be trying to get Larry to say something positive about active management. He didn’t budge. He did clearly say though that there are smart competitive people that can produce alpha; active loses because of costs.

Of course, the episode opened with REITs, which Rick Ferri praised due to the '17 tax law, then when Larry Swedroe was interviewed remotely he never mentioned REITS
