Can't change address on "My Social Security" site
Can't change address on "My Social Security" site
Probably OT, but here goes...
It says there should be a "My Profile" tab, but when I'm logged in I don't have that. Does anyone else have this problem? How do I change my address otherwise?

After I logged in and scrolled down to the bottom, there is a go to my profile link.
There is a notice that it will go down for maintenance in a few minutes Thursday/Friday midnight.

Re: Can't change address on "My Social Security" site
I just checked mine- I don't see anywhere either. They don't indicate my address anywhere on the site, so I don't know if they have the right one or not.
Edit: Found this under help:
How can I change my address?
If you get Social Security benefits (retirement, survivors, or disability) or are enrolled in Medicare, you can change your address online by using a my Social Security account. Go to the My Profile Tab on my Social Security.
This service is not currently available to people who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or do not have a U.S. mailing address. However, if you are receiving SSI, you can still check your address we have on record via the My Profile Tab on my Social Security.
If you get SSI, do not have a U.S. mailing address, or are unable to change your address online, you can:
Call us at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; or
Contact your local Social Security office.
If you do not receive Social Security benefits, SSI or Medicare, you do not need to change your address with us.

Re: Can't change address on "My Social Security" site
Really? I am not receiving SS benefits, just recently moved, and SS sent me a letter telling me the post office had notified them I had moved and if this was correct I didn't have to do anything. My first thought was, "well yes, if I had been able to change my address on the SS site like I was able to do with every other electronic account I have you wouldn't be wasting paper/postage informing me the post office had informed you."chambers136 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 7:01 am...

Interesting.
I created a social security account several years ago but I am not on Medicare or social security.
However, My Profle section has my home address, phone, email, etc.
