Active versus Passive

Fellow Bogleheads

Check this out: this is an annual report, produced by Morningstar, showing the overall performance of active versus passive funds against their respective benchmarks. I guess it says what we all already know and believe, but for me it's really striking just how "true" it is.

Thank you for this Morningstar report. It shows, almost without exception, the Boglehead emphasis on the importance of indexing, low-costs and stay-the-course.

Best wishes.
