I'm really surprised so many people are guessing the S&P500 index fund, when you provided a link to the three fund portolio which recommends: 1. the total U.S. stock market index fund (.05%), the total international stock market index fund (.12%) and the total (U.S.) bond market index fund (.06%) (all exp. ratios assume a minimum investment of $10,000). How could the special fund be the S&P500 index fund? It must be the total U.S. stock market index fund (costs the same), right?
