Nice to meet you all at the conference
I was only able to attend day 1 (maybe day 0 depending on how you count) of the Bogleheads Conference this year but it was great to meet so many famous finance people and regular Bogleheads. Thanks everybody for coming. My favorite part is always just socializing with those who have impacted my financial life with their ideas and writing. Christine Benz did a particularly good job lining up a real all star faculty this year. I'm sorry I didn't get to talk to everybody (or really anybody) as long as I would have liked to.
Feedback on Bogleheads University (Friday afternoon 101 and 501 tracks) is always appreciated. That's how we keep improving it.

While you only got to attend day 1, that was one more day than I was able to attend. Looking forward to next year. See you there!White Coat Investor wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 8:45 pm I was only able to attend day 1 (maybe day 0 depending on how you count) of the Bogleheads Conference this year but it was great to meet so many famous finance people and regular Bogleheads. Nice seeing you. Liked your presentation. You keep things lively.
Re: Nice to meet you all at the conference
You, Christine, Rick, and other BH leaders pack so much content into the conference.
I particularly like that there are many sessions for folks at all stages, but several that are directed to particular subsets of Boglehead Nation.
It was especially encouraging to see so many first time attendees. And so many “local” folks from the Minneapolis area.
Thank you for being so generous with your time and talents to advance the Boglehead cause.

thanks for doing it. I really enjoyed your interview from last year's conference with Wade Pfau. I was able to get a much greater appreciation for what he's doing with regards to tailoring different approaches for withdrawal strategies. Thanks for your work.

The Boglehead conference is something that is on my bucket list. As I turn 50 next year (and 12 year anniversary of being a boglehead), I would like to treat myself to the 2025 Boglehead conference. Anybody know where the next edition in 2025 will be holding?

Had a great dinner on Friday evening with 7 other Bogleheads at the Local: Miriam2, arr, bunglehead, JimSmiley1850, and 3 others who joined us last minute whose usernames I don't know. If you met me during the conference and I didn't get your contact info/username please send me a DM so we can keep in touch. I'll be setting up another Friday dinner for the 2025 conference.
I look forward to the Bogleheads conference every year! Great people and speakers. Thanks to everyone who works hard to bring us this wonderful event.

Thank you so much Stinky. I will make a note of that and I will keep checking to see when tickets go on sale next year so I don't miss it.Stinky wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:24 amIn the San Antonio or Austin area, at this general time of the year. I'm not sure anything is finalized, certainly not to the point where any sort of announcement can be made. It's actually amazing this conference can be pulled off in such a short time period by a bunch of volunteers.Stinky wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:24 amIn the San Antonio or Austin area, at this general time of the year.
