PrinciPAL not princiPLE !!!

Post by 22twain » Tue Mar 20, 2018 7:47 am

I swear, the word "principal" (as in principal amount of a mortgage, CD, bond, etc.) has almost completely disappeared from this forum, replaced by "principle". Have people really forgotten the difference, or is it group-spelling-checker-think? :annoyed

There, I've got it off my chest. It would be impolite to go around correcting people individually, so consider this to be my one and only public kvetch on this topic.
My investing princiPLEs do not include absolutely preserving princiPAL.

Remember that your principal is your pal.

Now that it's off your chest, we can lock this (non-actionable rant).
