I miss him too. It appears his last login was Aug. 21, 2013. But he has disappeared before only to return.

I also miss him, and his unique online "voice."

I had the recollection that he lives/lived in Norfolk, VA. I did a Google search for "Norfolk Munchkin Man," and this was among the results, containing a post from last September. I have no idea of his current status other than this.

Oh Man ! after reading some of the responses, i'm back when Munchin responded
daily on his activities with his penny stocks and especially the blow by blow account
with his girlfriend.
Is there a way that i can re-cap those memories and conversations on this forum
and others ???
I would appreciate instructions on how to accomplish those happy days for us old timers.
I wish he is still around or there are some real close friends that he told his real name so we can tract him down.

The munchkin man was one of my favorite posters. I always looked forward to hearing more from the munchkin man. The munchkin man never strayed from his character. I miss the munchkin man very much and I hope he returns soon. I see very little point in life without the munchkin man's comments.

Remember The Munchkin Man Diet thread? The Munchkin Man had to get a special dispensation from the founder to discuss his diet as it violated forum rules. He got it.

MM has brought a lot of good times to me. I did not get my fund selection or tax advice from MM but he has a warm place in my heart. Just as high as any other Boglehead on here. Man I would love to read about him and the girlfriend. Any link on that one?

This week's fortune cookie: "Your financial life will be secure and beneficial." So I got that going for me, which is nice.

He explained his writing style here. One of the stories I enjoyed was that of his trip to the beach with his buddies. I didn't read the penny stock adventures.

I like the thread at the first link, or at least as much of it as I read. (It is many pages long.) The Munchkin Man plucks that thread like that kid with the Banjo in Deliverance.

I don't know about the Munchkin Man's "disability" but he sure is focused and persistent to the point of, perhaps, obsession. I would NEVER try to wear him down in a contest of wills!
Listen very carefully. I shall say this only once. (There! I've said it.)
