Congratulations @Abuss368! Your posts have been enjoyable to read, and as a New Boglehead less than a year into this new-found enlightenment, your help, and the help from the others, not to mention Mr. Larimore's posts, have assisted me in finding the path towards financial freedom and independence. Let's not get too excited. Due to mean reversion, he'll average 20 posts a year for the next 10 years.
Alternately, if Abuss's posts were like hamburgers, Buffett would say we should not be exited to pay this much for hamburgers. Too expensive.
If you have to ask "Is a Target Date fund right for me?", the answer is "Yes" (even in taxable accounts).

I miss Steve (aka Stemikger). We used to correspond a lot. He focused on simplicity with Vanguard Balanced Index and was doing excellent. I think he lived in New York if I recall and was rehabbing an old home.
