Thanks LarryG. Right now, it is a toss-up between July 19 (noon) vs July 26 (noon). Since the consensus is around lunchtime, do people prefer meeting at restaurant as opposed to perhaps a formal meeting for the first meet-up?

If a restaurant, a few lunch restaurant ideas include:
Minerva Indian Buffet
Great Dane - Hilldale
Sprechers Restaurant and Pub

Lunch time on a Saturday is apt to be pretty crazy noisy at most restaurants. My vote would go for Great Dane but I know that they're extremely noisy on weekends and they won't take advance reservations for seating large parties at the same table on weekends unless you pay an outrageous sum. In fact I don't think they have many tables big enough to accommodate our group.

I've never been to the other restaurants.

I do know the owner of Lee's Garden and am pretty sure we could get a large quiet table there for a Saturday lunch.

I can only get the conference room during business hours. I vote for Minerva. I love that place.

FYI - I moved a few posts from the old thread (Wisconsin Bogleheads group dead?) into here so everyone can be together.

Rog-Kat - Welcome!

Update: I unlocked the old thread so renjuzone can reorganize for Madison.
