Bogleheads@MSFT

Post by archbish99 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 1:43 pm

Since I ran across another Microsoft employee here, I started wondering how many of us there are. I've created an alias for Bogleheads@MSFT -- click below to join while on corpnet. Depending how many of us there are and where we're located, we might get together for lunch from time to time and/or discuss issues specific to our 401k and benefits options.

* Actually, the DG is pending approval. I'll update once it's actually available.

+1 - it'd be interesting to see the intersection of MSFT and Bogglehead culture (though I don't expect the intersection to be very large) :)

A few folks have joined, so it seems to be up and running.

If you MSFT folks want to start a Bogleheads Local Chapter, let me know and I'll get you up and running and list your contact information on the Local Chapters Map so others can find you.

From a quick glance, the majority are in the Seattle area (no surprise), but not all. I believe there is a Seattle group, though I haven't seen any activity lately.

Kind of a "virtual" local chapter. :happy

It did when I left Microsoft a few months ago. Never was a whole lot of discussion, though -- mostly about the ESPP and whenever they changed our 401k options.
