Dan Moroboshi

Post by VictoriaF » Tue Feb 15, 2011 10:37 am

Dan Moroboshi has some of the funniest posts here. I just noticed that he joined the Forum on 07/07/07, and as of this writing his post count is 707. Looking forward to 7070 and everything in between,

I've noticed and appreciated Dan's posts as well. Last year I sent out an appeal for insights about Cleveland, as we were considering a job move there. Dan sent a link to the (in)famous "Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video" shortly after. I still chuckle over that one.

Also, Dan has a memorable avatar. I wonder if that helps the rest of us connect him with his innovative and witty posts?

As you would expect of a superhero. Which may also explain all the references to "7" mentioned in the original post by Victoria.

Dan is easily this forum's funniest. I remember stumbling across a survival guide to which he posted a link (my firewall won't allow me to access it). It included recipes for cooking rats (Ratatouille stew?)

I literally doubled up and laughed myself silly.

After reading his posts, I've started using both sides of the toilet paper.
This is the bogleheads way.

Dan can probably hit it BIG in Las Vegas, considering all the 7's he is associated with.

Thank you Dan for all your posts. You are marvelous!!

More of Dan's humor, I believe. Read the linked post carefully, and note that anyone can use red "moderator" color . . .

(not really)

I just noticed that the background color alternates, at least in the board style I use. With the darker background, the white is easier to see. I wouldn't put it past Dan to have waited to post on the lighter background to make his (not really) even more obscure.

I'm left wondering if he'll post in the thread that bears his name. But, imagine, the pressure of having to say something funny in a thread that talks about how funny you are.

Anyone remember this line in Finding Nemo?
