Low cost, reputable accumulating world stock index fund for EU individuals?

Post by NeedAdvice3 »

EU citizen here.

Currently holding VT in one broker and VWRA in IB (for broker risk diversification). VWRA is no longer listed on Vanguard's website and I'm not sure if its the best choice right now. I will not sell it, but looking to buy a large amount of indices.

Looking for:
- low cost (low ER),
- world (not US)
- ACCUMULATING (not distributing)

stock index fund.

Accumulating, since it's less hassle with tax filing for dividends (they aren't distributed).

Which one would fit me best that is available on IB?

cant see what's wrong with VWRA

world ... not US? I am confused. if it doesn't include the US it cannot be a world stock index. or you mean it should not be a US only fund?

There's plenty of MSCI ACWI out there if you dont want FTSE all world

Lowest TER I know is an Amundi Prime. full list on boglewiki or justETF https://www.justetf.com/en/how-to/msci-acwi-etfs.html

I meant a WORLD stock index (US + REST) not US only.

I never understood sticking to US only when multipolarity cycles are a thing.

VWRA is still available? Good, I was just concerned not seeing it on vanguard main website.

Yes, grok also taught me about Amundi Prime, but what's the catch? Is it more likely to go bust or less stable compared to established Vanguard, IShares, etc?

sure.

Also note that MSCI World excludes EM. if you want EM, then it's MSCI ACWI

all this is on boglewiki

I don't know the catch other than competition and yes, of course as an ETF starts the AUM is low but it is already at 2bn which sounds pretty safe to me
