ETF price no longer updated

Post by pedrop » Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:11 am

I own some shares of ETF HSBC MSCI World UCITS ETF (ISIN: DE000A1C9KL8), and it has recently stopped being priced. In JustETF there's an information stating that the ETF is now inactive, but I can't find any information in HSBC's ETF sites. Do any of you know what happened and if there's any documentation I can obtain to be sure?

There were others asking similar questions about this ETF on forums recently. It would be best if you contact both HSBC and your broker. You should have received a notification from your broker if this ETF was being delisted, liquidated or merged.

You're right and I did what you're suggesting, but these days both the broker and HSBC are taking a long time to reply. I thought someone could've obtained some information, in the meanwhile.

It is pretty amazing what sort of information is available on this forum. I don't know your answer but I agree with you that someone who posts on here just might.

It was merged with ISIN IE00B4X9L533. My broker exchanged the ETF shares without any tax consequences.

Great, thank for the info. DeGiro is currently taking so long to reply...
