I’ve read through the many helpful threads here on purchasing term life insurance, which I’m especially grateful for. I used term4sale but didn’t have the best luck with the three numbers listed (I didn’t really feel like they were helping me find the best plan for me). I tried calling local companies found on yelp, but having trouble getting calls back!
Does anyone have advice on how to find a life insurance broker (or know of a contact)? Located in California (Socal) in case it’s relevant.
Help purchasing term life insurance
Re: Help purchasing term life insurance
Assuming you have SOME type of insurance (homeowners, auto) ask your agent to connect you with a life insurance rep. Trust me, they LOVE to sell insurance and will be happy to take your premiums. Once you have a quote, you can use that to shop around.anonymous14 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 1:00 pm I’ve read through the many helpful threads here on purchasing term life insurance, which I’m especially grateful for. Here's US News' rating of life insurance companies, for whatever that is worth. Most people just shop on price (and of course, solvency/potential insolvency). I use State Farm for most of my insurance, but for life I use Equitable (formerly AXA). It's just one more bill, I have absolutely no contact with them (or the agent, who occasionally tells me I need more insurance.)

Many years ago I purchased through Zander.com. They also have a great website for comparing rates.
Consider Select Quote.
I believe that Boglehead “BruDude” is a life insurance agent. You could message him for suggestions.
Finally, most companies that sell auto and home insurance have high priced life insurance. For example, while my auto and home is with State Farm, I would never buy life insurance from them. Not competitive on price.
