Trouble logging in to Transunion?

Is anyone else having trouble logging in to Transunion? After entering login name and password a screen appears requesting a 6-digit code allegedly sent to the email address of record. No email was received, despite several attempts and thoroughly checking that my email address works correctly to receive mail. Also checked spam/junk mail folder. I confirmed that I was checking the correct email account based on an email received from Transunion about a year ago.

This is frustrating because I need to temporarily unfreeze the Transunion account to apply for a new credit card. I cannot find a way to call or otherwise contact Transunion on a timely basis.

Is there a way to put these credit bureaus out of business? Their service is awful and there is very little ability to resolve problems.

Just tried, same experience. No code received.

This has happened over time with various sites.

Many times, the codes show up much later (of no use), but when they do eventually show up it is my cue that I can then log in.

What credit card offer is expiring today?

I'd just wait until later.

I am able to log in. I don't get prompted for a code.

The URL I use is https://service.transunion.com

P.S. I see that if I start at the main page (transunion.com), it won't go further, but the direct link I use will work.

From the transunion.com main page, click on "Member Login", then Service Center - login on the next page. That takes you to the service.transunion.com login page.

Thank you @pizzy and @Tom_T for the replies. It's useful to know I'm not the only one experiencing trouble. I'll try again in a few days.

For those interested, I plan to apply for a Fidelity cash rewards card to replace another card that was cancelled by the issuer a few weeks ago due to disuse (LLBean-affiliated Mastercard). No loss - I'll be better off with the Fidelity rewards card.

Not sure I understand - the service page I log into is where I can freeze/unfreeze. Isn't that what you want to do? Or are you saying you are prompted for a code but never get an email? I don't get any code prompts, not for TransUnion.

Yes, I am prompted for a code on the page that appears after the login page linked from the service.transunion.com page. Apparently Transunion required an extra security step today that I have not seen before.

I did not initially get an email with the authorization code for several hours. The email with the authorization code finally appeared about 5 hours after my log in attempt.

Not helpful, Transunion.
