Any Finance Advisors using Helios for estates and trusts ?

Post by Kumsajack »

I'm really interested in setting up a Trust, and the streamlined approach of Helios looks appealing: https://heliosdriven.com/hip/

However, Helios will only engage with clients through a Financial Advisor.

Any known experience or a Finance Advisor that uses Helios ?

Thanks !

I really think you want to work with an attorney who is familiar with Trust law in your state.

Financial advisor may try to sell you whole life to go in the trust. Could easily become conflict of interest.

I looked at this link. It looks like it is marketing to financial advisors, to train them and eventually refer their clients to their trust services.

OP, Unless you're a financial advisor or want to pay one, I'd look elsewhere. A good estate planning attorney won't care if you, the client, has a financial advisor or not. But if you used a Helio-trained financial advisor, you'd probably arrive at the lawyer knowing some terminology and basic concepts, that you can pick up elsewhere (like at Bogleheads.org).

Here's where I first learned of Helios. I think it's a logical outgrowth of a lot of FinTech initiatives.
