Do you lose the state capital loss carryover if you move?

Was reading the various capital loss threads and thought of this --

Say your state allows capital loss carryover, what If you move to a different state and have no more income from your prior state? Do you lose the ability to use the loss since there would be no state income to offset? If so, that seems like a pretty big danger for a large carried loss.

The answer is probably yes. Since a lot states start the tax calculation with Federal AGI (which includes any loss carryovers) it may be a moot point
