Yogi said it. It must be true.

Many of you have probably seen this Vanguard article. Since it's baseball season, it's worth a repeat read.

This isn't a Yogi quote, but I've always liked it anyway...

In a biography of Yogi Berra, it said that the above quote related to directions to Yogi’s house that was on a circular street so that whichever way you turned at the fork, you’d get to his house.

For many years, Yogi played for Casey Stengel who was known for his Stengelese aphorisms. Catchers and managers likely have closer relationships than some who play other positions on the field.

"Only in America." That's what Yogi said when someone told him the mayor of Catholic Dublin was Jewish.

Thanks for posting. About time Yogi’s “wisdom” was applied to investing. But there’s at least one quote Vanguard uses that includes something he may not have said: “Don’t always follow the crowd, because nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”

I didn’t remember the first part about follow the crowd so I checked Quote Investigator and found this:

Yogi on Investing

Yogi Berra has been quoted many times in the forums but a recent article by Vanguard really highlights how wise he was.
