Midland National [life insurance company]

Post by irishwarrior » Tue May 22, 2018 7:24 am

Hi,
After looking high and low, arrived at Midland National for a $2M Term policy? The company is A+ rated - however, it never shows up in any ranking when you search for 'best life insurance companies'...any thoughts / experience with Midland National?

Thanks!

MIdland National is a part of the Sammons Financial Group, I believe. A pretty large corporation, and well-rated.

My wife had a term policy for a number of years through a sister company in the same group. Policy service was fine.

If price at Midland National is competitive, I would have no concerns buying from them

What is this 'best life insurance companies' ranking you speak of ?.Midland is a financially sound carrier with super competitive rates. If you can qualify there is not much to think about.

Good company, wouldn't trust any "best life insurance companies" lists, they are probably just for SEO purposes. Any company with an A rating or better from AM Best should be perfectly fine for a term life policy.
