Post by CollegePrudens »

The expense ratio drop is 0.01%.

Here is the note that I got in my inbox today:
Dear College Saver,

We're pleased to let you know we've reduced costs for The Vanguard 529 College Savings Plan. Now you'll pay less to invest for college, whether you choose one of our age-based options or an individual portfolio.

With fees for our age-based options now down from 0.17% to 0.16% and all individual portfolio fees reduced by 0.01%, our costs continue to be among the lowest of any 529 plan. That means more of your money stays in your account to potentially grow and generate more earnings for college.

The fee reductions occur automatically; you don't need to take any action. To learn more about these changes and The Vanguard 529 Plan costs, read The Vanguard 529 College Savings Plan Program Description, and save it for future reference. Thank you for being a part of our Vanguard investment community.

Sincerely,

The Vanguard 529 College Savings Plan
Enjoy!
