I am trying to educate myself on term life insurance and there seems to be many targeting specific occupations, including mine, which is firefighting.
Is there any real difference between types of term life versus another? Such as, are there concerns about "regular" term life not being suitable for high(er) risk occupations?
So far I am unable to find any real comparison that isn't just marketing.

Re: Term life insurance for specific occupations?
Term life is term life. Some companies will not sell to (or raise the price to) certain occupations, such as yours, or crop dusters, or deep sea divers.
During a time of war, most insurance companies will not sell life insurance to members of the military. That does not seem to be happening now.
If your workplace offers life term life insurance, that is the place to start. Otherwise, look online, be prepared for rejection, and keep shopping.
