We look to cash out quarterly and put the money into the kids' 529 accounts. It's not always much, but better than nothing and it keeps us regularly contributing beyond our existing monthly contributions!
WIth BofA Preferred Rewards Program, it's free money to us just for using their credit card products.
The bonus points kick in real hard with the grocery and gas charges.

As they are available to redeem. Usually after statement closes.
Costco Visa is the outlier where they mail a check annually.
YTD: $6800 ish in cash back.

Every January. Use the proceeds to partially fund my backdoor Roth.
