Re: TurboTax’s Anti-Fraud Efforts Under Scrutiny
This combines with the cluelessness of the Tubotax Deluxe changes for Investors to reveal a company that is in deep trouble, dishonest and rudderless. I am glad that I changed away from TT and this makes it even less likely that I will ever go back. Intuit was always ethically challenged, as it's whole business model depends on lobbyists bribing Congress to reserve tax preparation for commercial companies.
It is time for the IRS to take filed reports from employers and financial institutions, compile them, and send them to taxpayers to verify and add other income and deductions, then allow us to file our taxes without having to pay these crooks.
