It used to be The Blues Brothers, based on how many times I've watched it, but I think I finally wore out its welcome.

One of my all time favorites was the 1951 " A Christmas Carol " with Alastair Sim. It should be playing somewhere on cable this time of year. Catch it if you can.

And yes, the Alistair Sim Christmas Carol is my favorite version as well.

I can't answer to an absolute favorite but the all-time favorites of movies/tv series are The Searchers, Hondo, Old Yeller, Rocky 1, Forest Gump, Conagher and Lonesome Dove.

If you haven't seen it, you might like "Last Man Standing" starring Bruce Willis. It's a "Fistful of Dollars" set in the 1930s.----Jim
