most webmail services block linking to external images.

A few guesses... the email reader is set to plain text only, Yahoo or another ISP, firewall, or virus scan is blocking the images.

Problem is that other people send me emails @ my Yahoo address and the photos or images come through fine.

????

They're probably attaching the picture files to the email and yahoo can display the attached pictures. That's not the same as linking to external image files.

Oh, there's your problem. You're using UBB code! UBB is only usable on forums such as these.

If you want to send images via HTML, you'll need to use... well... HTML codes.

You know, the ones with greater and less than signs. The basic construct should look like the following:

Code: Select all

<img src="url">
Also, when you use this, the URL should be an actual http link, because the code is just a pointer to some image somewhere, and doesn't actually attach to the email.... Know what I mean?

Actually, I would just attach the images to the email and call it a day. That or just provide links in your email to whatever online images you have in mind.

Keep it simple!

Tabs,

Many thanks for the suggestion; I will try that and let you know what happens.
